Hi. I’m Josh.
I'm a graphic designer, specializing in higher education marketing. At Carnegie Dartlet (previously Fire Engine RED), I collaborated with a team of creatives and the Creative Director to design and assess marketing materials for college admissions clients, ensuring consistency across client brands, style guides, and web collateral. My work included designing print mailers, landing pages, email designs, and custom variable video projects.
Prior to this, I was the senior graphic designer for Wartburg College’s Marketing and Communication office for nine years. I led the design of all campus collateral, including posters, promotional materials, web graphics, and the Wartburg Magazine. I also mentored student interns, guiding them in designing publications with a focus on AP style and branding standards.
I graduated from Iowa State University with a BFA in graphic design, where I developed skills in editorial, packaging, and corporate design through intensive studies in color, type, grid systems, and photography.
